The ultimate in comfort food - bring on those garlic mashed
Yukon Gold I say! On a perfect autumn evening in October, I
joined my panel of experts at Cranberries Bar & Grill, 601
Parliament, and 925-6330. Every month, for one night only, Cranberries
offers a very special menu. I chose the mixed platter- tender
piece of sirloin steak, chicken breasts and smoked sausage with
a heavenly pile of those garlicy golds! Thank goodness we had
reservations as the place filled up quickly. This is north Cabbagetown’s
little jewel. Your friends won't tell you about this place for
fear they won't get a seat for Sunday brunch. I remember Cranberries
from the Pub Crawl. They served up heaps of hot wings and tender
ribs to people who rarely travel north of Winchester! I like
Cranberries - it's not pretentious and it serves great food
at excellent prices. Just remember who told you and save me
a seat.
